I had no idea what I was in store for, until towards the beginning of the book, i already just could NOT put it down, it got better, and better, with shocks and suprises i had NO idea were coming, I could not put it down, and became so engrossed into this book,because i was just blown away, wanting to know what was going on and whast would happen next. I loved her Yellowstone Park series so much I read them twice and couldn't wait for this "second chance time travel" romance to come out. Excellent stories tho only "The Secret Garden" is illustrated whereas the other two have but cover artwork. Beinhart will have you hollering "Amen. The author captivated me from the beginning and I was enthralled with the past, present and possible future of the couple in the book. They captured the beauty and the isolation with a professional's eye. They are entertaining and fun to read. My real disappointment, however, is the characters. Later a plot point is introduced (that I won't give away), that in another novel could be great,yet here it just baffled me even more in regards to Winnie.
