I also found (after the fact) there is a "train your Dragon to accept no" book that I have ordered as well. It is an amazing true life story. NUS Press and NIAS Press: Singapore / Copenhagen 2014. Always Before Me by Davalynn Spencer is one of the most beautifully written women's devotionals I've come across in a very long time. A scant 128 pages, the book is nonetheless jam-packed with data presented in both text and illustrations that are easily understood and quickly absorbed. In Know Yourself, Forget Yourself, executive coach and mindfulness teacher Marc Lesser shows that understanding and embracing the points where life feels most confusing, most contradictory can lead us to more satisfaction and joy. The soap-opera character set up wasn't really used the way it could have been (no over the top histrionics), and all the characters and and townspeople could have been in "____ fill in the blank" mystery series. The first three stories utilize access, attendance and testing as criteria associated with these eras of schooling. It is all very chilling and macabre, but at the same time it is so fascinating that you cannot avert your eyes. Houdini's tales of beggars, pickpockets, spiritualist and burglars are neither instructive nor very amusing. The humor will make you smile and chortle, the suspense is palpable, the endings incredible. This book will touch your heart. The Bible references the book of Jasher, so why not dive into it.
